Recording studio rental in Warsaw
Hourly recording studio rental in Warsaw - 200 PLN/h with an engineer, 150 PLN/h on your own. Żoliborz, 600 m from the Dworzec Gdański station. Three studios and a mastering room. Running since 2017.
In short: Recording studio rental in Warsaw is billed by the hour. 200 PLN per hour with an engineer, 150 PLN per hour on your own. Three recording studios and a separate mastering room at Mickiewicza 9 in Żoliborz, 600 meters from the Dworzec Gdański station. Come with your material or just an idea - the room, the gear and an engineer are on us. We have been running since 2017, mostly with Polish hip-hop, trap and pop.
Renting here is simple: book the hours and come in to record. The only real question is whether you want someone of ours at the desk while you do it.
Recording with an engineer costs 200 PLN per hour. The engineer sets up the mic and the signal chain, runs the takes, comps them and makes sure the material is ready to be mixed. This option works when you want to think about the performance rather than the technique.
Self-operated sessions cost 150 PLN per hour. The room and the gear are yours alone, the work goes on our machine or your own, at your own pace. This option is for people who know how to set up a chain.
For anyone who has never worked a session alone, we run an intro to self-operated sessions for 200 PLN per hour. We walk you through our setup, and after that you can book plain self-operated hours.
What are our studios like?
Studio 1 is 40 sqm of open space with a roomy control area, a collection of analog gear and both near-field and mid-field monitors. The booth is bright and lively, finished in a theatrical style, with sofas where guests can sit through the session. It is the room for bigger line-ups and sessions with more people in them.
We also have Studio 2, Studio 3 and a separate mastering room. The mastering room was built together with Andrzej Lipiński and runs on L707A Signature monitors. It can be rented on its own, either by yourself or with our engineer next to you.
We are at Mickiewicza 9 unit U1 in Żoliborz, 600 meters from the Dworzec Gdański station. Metro, tram and rail are all right there, so you can get here from the other side of Warsaw without a car.
What does recording studio rental in Warsaw include?
The room, the gear and the session setup. The stems are yours.
Mixing and mastering are billed separately, because not everyone needs them from us. A mix with mastering starts from 500 PLN, a vocal mix from 400 PLN, mastering alone from 300 PLN. You can leave the material with us or take the stems and have it done elsewhere. Full rates are in the price list.
When to take an engineer, and when to record alone?
An engineer works well when you are tracking vocals and want to think about the take, not about whether the mic is placed right. They will catch the best takes, comp them and tell you where a double or an adlib is worth adding.
A self-operated session fits when you have your own way of working and want to keep it. The room, the gear and the quiet are yours, and we stay out of your way.
Bringing your own engineer also counts as self-operated. In that case the intro session is worth considering, so you do not burn the first hour learning the signal chain.
What happens after the session?
The stems are yours, and the next step is your call. If you want us to finish the track, we mix and master it, and collect revisions as a list of timestamps. If the material is going to someone else, you take the files and that is that.
We also release artists’ music to Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and the rest, so if you need a release after the session, we handle the metadata, the artwork and the release date.
